Status:           At large, wanted alive
Aliases:           Jennifer Walters, The She-Hulk

The woman known as "The She-Hulk", sometimes going by the alias "Jennifer Walters", is actually a product of cloning experiments being conducted by the Empire.  Believed to be a clone of a woman who lived a long time ago on a planet that was long forgotten by the galaxy, the She-Hulk was created in an attempt to create a next generation clone trooper using a DNA sample that had been changing hands for millions of years.  The Empire surmised that female clone troopers would be more easily controlled, however in using the mysterious ancient DNA sample they created a green-skinned woman with an unbelievable level of superhuman strength.  The imperial scientist who created her, a man known only as  "The Butcher", discovered she had a high Force potential.  Thinking he could potentially give her to the Emperor as a new Sith Acolyte or to the Imperial Inquisitors, he began infusing her tissues with midi-chlorians to further enhance her Force Potential.  Upon informing Emperor Palpatine of the success of his creating a clone with Force potential, the Butcher was granted a rare privilege...access to one of the holocrons held by the Empire.  Palpatine's purpose was to allow her to begin learning some Force techniques from a Jedi Holocron, and if she proved herself, he would eventually allow her to use a Sith Holocron.  This ultimately backfired, as the clone took the holocron, and using brute force alone, she killed her creators and escaped, leaving only the Butcher alive (though Palpatine would later have him killed).  After ditching her stolen imperial ship, she vanished into the galaxy at large, becoming a bounty hunter.  Now working under the nickname "She-Hulk", given to her by a Clavik the Hutt, she hunts down people she feels are bad people, though she uses her own sense of morality to decide who is good and who is bad.  Those who know her often advise people not to get on her bad side.  This is because She-Hulk rarely opts to bring her bounties in alive.  Her most valued treasure is the holocron she keeps.  Through it she has learned the Jedi Arts.  Her training with the holocron ultimately led her to seek out a kyber crystal.  That particular adventure ultimately led her to raid an imperial cargo shuttle carrying kyber crystals bound for their research facility on Eadu.  After killing the shuttle's crew, she entered the hold.  Allowing the Force to guide her, she was led to two kyber crystals in the same cargo pod.  She took these crystals, wiped the shuttle's security data, and sent it along on its course on automatic.  With her two kyber crystals, she built two lightsabers.  It was when She-Hulk completed her lightsabers that she began calling herself a "Gray Jedi", a term she had heard being thrown around the galaxy to refer to a Jedi that was not affiliated with the Jedi Order.  This term suited her because she enjoyed her independence, and knew it was not possible to join the Jedi Order, even if she actually believed the rumors that the Jedi Order still existed on a hidden planet forgotten by the galaxy.

Just curious, but why not call her The Hulk? Since she's the first in this universe? Just wondering.

Because maybe she's not the ONLY Hulk in the Star Wars Universe.

The truth is, I called her "she-hulk" because I was doing a "Star Wars" verison of She-Hulk, and I didn't want to confuse people.  I might to the Hulk, but it would only be him in "Bruce Banner" form.  Unless imperial genetic engineers have managed to create a version of the Hulk at normal human proportions, but with the same superhuman strength.

Honestly, I don't care, I was just wondering why not call her The Hulk, but I understand.

Yeah.  Well, the idea of her backstory is that somehow a sample of the Marvel She-Hulk made its way into the Star Wars Universe (not hard to imagine considering all the dimension hopping that happens in the Marvel Universe), and it changed hands over and over again for a very long time until the empire got hold of it, and some ambitious imperial lackie decided to have the DNA sample cloned.  That the She-Hulk clone was also called "She-Hulk" is a convenience.

Ah, okay. Don't really care for how marvel treats her, but I think Jennifer Walters in the star wars universe would be very cool, though I picture her being a force user.

Glad to hear it, I can't decide if I would make her a Jedi or a Sith.

Chances are I'll end up making her a Gray Jedi.  Given that I wrote her back story as having her the result of Imperial Genetic Experiments, she certainly would not possibly have any affiliation with the Jedi Order.  Her being a Gray Jedi also fits with the fact that she escaped the Empire and roams the galaxy fighting them and other sorts of evil.

Yeah, I was thinking of that too, since you've kinda made into a sorta anti-hero in this, you know because she kills her enemies, but still fights evil. Grey Jedi sounds good.

Yeah, I figured, since she's the she-hulk, rage factors into her fighting style, but she's against the empire, because of how they created her.  That's also why her lightsabers are purple because (according to the new cannon) purple lightsabers denote someone who walks the fine line between the light and dark sides of the Force.

OMG yes!! Imagine how powerful of a dark side user she would be. Also, I always imagined her having a one green lightsaber and one purple lightsaber (or a double bladed one with a green blade and a purple blade), so her having only a purple one is fine with me and like you said makes sense.
