Keara had never experiened this level of chaos in her entire life. Honestly, it was rather terrifying. The distraction team had given them the okay to move in and get Moni, but there were still enemies that blocked their way. Before she knew it, a fight broke out. Weapons and energy blasts started flying around and frankly....Keara wasn't even remotely interested in any of it.

"......well this certainly is a thorn in my side." She sighed, "Come ON people, we have a job to do! Are we forgetting about Moni????" She called out. She got a few glances and some others tried to call to her but she couldn't quiiite make out what they were saying.

Keara let out a huff and hiked up her skirt and began marching deeper into the tunnels, "If you want something done right, you gotta do it yourself."

Catori was in the middle of a fight, but saw Keara from the corner of her eye, "K-keara wait...!" But Keara had already walked out of sight.

"Tunnels??? Really?? Tunnels. Honestly. How completely and utterly stupid you are, you stupid things, getting me all....all lost! Ugh! Don't worry Moni, I'll find you! I'm not going to be bested by tunnels of all things...."

Keara had been wandering around the tunnels for quite some time now, but was unable to find Moni yet. She was starting to get quite irritated. Tunnels are dumb, rifters are dumb, and now her foot hurts because she stepped on a sharp pebble a little while ago....it was just not her day. Suddenly, Keara stopped. She heard a noise....it was faint, but she knew someone was there.

"......who's there? Stop being a damn creep and show yourself!" Keara crossed her arms and glanced around.

A womanly figure stepped out of the shadows and in front of Keara. She wore dark clothes and had flaming orange hair pulled up in pigtails. She was wielding a scalpel in each hand.

"Going off all on your own~? Don't you think that's a little.....dangerous?"

".........okay, you can seriously stop trying to scare me with that cryptic nonsense because it's not gonna work." Keara peered at the rifter from over her glasses, "I'm on a very important mission, and you're in my way."

"Oh am I? See, I'm also on a very important mission and you're in my way....so it seems we have a conflict of interest, hm~?"

"Seriously, move or you're going to get a face full of glass." Keara opened up her bag and pulled out a potion. A little red beetle crawled out of the bag and onto the ground.

"I'm having a hard time figuring out how a bottle and a bug are supposed to help you, but I do appreciate you making this easy for me~" Null leaped at Keara, taking aim at her vitals.

"Grow!" Keara cast a spell on her beetle, and it quickly grew to a startling size. Keara ducked behind it just in time for Null to miss her and scratch the beetle shell.

"I'm gonna teach you a couple of things. First of all..." Keara saw Null's miss as an opportunity to engage, "I have one hell of a throwing arm!" Keara threw her potion and it hit Null; the bottle cracked open and sent potion flying everywhere. Null landed and immediately fell to it's knees, the potion taking effect.

"Second of all, did you know the rhino beetle can lift 850 times its own weight?" The beetle charge at Null and scooped it up with it's pincers. It charged through the walls of the tunnels until it slowed down and threw Null down a long hallway.

"....hm, seems you didn't know."

"....K-keara?"

Keara turned around.

"....Moni???"

"Moni...!! You found her!"

Catori and the others had caught up....all they really had to do was follow the gaping holes in the walls. The group broke open Moni's cell and helped her up. Keara supported Moni and helped her walk with the others to the extraction point.

"....uh....h-hey Moni?"

Moni looked up at Keara, "Yeah?"

"I uh.....I'm......I'm sorry.....for being rude to you earlier....the stuff about the uh....the starfish? And the paper? And me uh....being....a know it all?"

"It's okay Keara." Moni smiled.

"R-really? I'm glad....I was worried I wouldn't be able to tell you...."

"I'm happy you did." Moni said softly.

"Me too." Keara smiled.

We finally got Moni home.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I'm not really great at writing, so here is......uh....whatever this is.

I honestly think it's hilarious that there's this huge battle raging in the background and Keara is just like "Pft I don't have time for this byeeeeee"
