This is a rare edition Mazda RX-8 from 2012, with a German rotary Wankel engine. Although those were the most energy-efficient engines ever made, it was defeated by the cost of making them, because most factories only have molds to build conventional engines. What a waste....

It is really cool, even when most people have never heard of rotary engines. My father used to drive an older RX-5, which also featured a German rotary Wankel engine, but the automatic shift wasted most of the potential. LOL

Dad let me drive his RX-5 back in the day, and due to the automatic shift, it felt like any other car I drove before. I don't know why they do such things to rare edition cars like that.
