~Rachel Rocklynn~This deviation is a trade art I made for showing his Rachel Rocklynn character, which here I show as fantasy warrior girl. Check here [link] for the original character design. He will draw my Marin-chan character in return and I shall post it at my frontpage when itβs done. ^^

Thank you, Fredy! I think I finally found a way to greatly reduce the dirty AO shadows in Poser 7. It was a combination of many things. E-frontier left the rendering defaults at a low profile so that things will render faster, but AO will come out poorly done. Tweaking the settings gets cleaner AO but rendering times now take many times longer - which was sort of expected.

Oh yes... nice AO is a real time killer in C4D...

I am lucky enough Poser 7 can do multi-core rendering, for that greatly reduces rendering times comparing to my other single core computer - like 40% shorter times. Of course, C4D has a MUCH more efficient rendering method comparing to Poser. Poser simply divides the screen in two sections and render each separately. When one is finished, the respective core just goes idle for the rest of the render time. C4D keeps breaking the remainder parts by half so that all cores are always busy doing something useful.
