SAILOR MOON!!! And the Sailor Scouts, obvi.I had so much fun completing this piece (right during the homestretch week before APE.)
This piece debuted at APE and I couldn't be happier with how it came out and the reception of it. If you can't tell, there's a soft spot in my heart for Mars and Jupiter. You can view a fuller, plumper, juicier description at my tumblr.

Ah, man, thisΒ is amazing. I particularlyΒ that, for the most part, bikini armour and boob plate is avoided. Moon and Jupiter are my favourite outfits.

Sailor Mars is gorgeous here. And I really, really like Sailor Moon, especially because this reminds me of her "badass" persona instead of the more usual crybaby.

Really neat though the other scouts are more recognisable than Usagi herself, as they have some of their colours etc. - she is still a Princess and it would have been cool to work that in a bit more! I feel like the point of Magical Girl stuff is to show you can be feminine AND strong instead of pushing the idea that women have to become more masculine to be respected.
