I did this months ago, was trying a new painting technique that was quite time consuming...partially because I didn't paint for months and totally forgot everything basic and had to pick up slowly.Although the result is disastrous, it was quite fun.

This is lovely, but I wish that character on the left's hand was also partly submerged. I think it would've solidified the idea, or something. So nice. I wish I could paint digitally.

It's very impressive work and has echos of Art Nouveau/Secessionist by way of an updating of the imagery esp around the water and "essence" treatments. Whiltst a clear and competent graphic in the now it could readily and quite comfortably sit with work from the end of the 19th Century.
