Nice. The reflection of the 4 in the shield was a really cool touch.

man, nice job with the cartooning style. Fantastic Four is one of my favorite comics growing up and the invisible woman is one helluva hero.

I rather like that skirt on her.

I really love the skirt, really fitting for Sue for some reason. I imagine she wears it with blue tights as well instead of just bare legged but that's just me wanting to keep Mama Fantastic more modest. Especially after that cutout deal she wore in the 90s...sheesh.

I agree, it's a nice blend of modern and retro fashion.
Sue never struck me as the sort of character who should be overtly sexualised.
Her style should be modest but cute.

I've wanted to do a retro Fantastic Four sketch for years now, I figure this simple design would fit into a Mod 60's style even in this modern day and would also be fitting for the "mother figure" of the four.

She looks so cute and put together. Damn. How do all these superhero dames keep their hair and makeup and clothes so neat all the time, and I can't make it 24 hours without at least once looking like a dead thing? I should get bitten by something alien or radioactive, methinks.

Hmm. I'm trying to figure out what odd hobbies got you introduced to Mr Barbera and how old you were when you say "kid".

I've always studied animation beyond the concerns of any normal kid.
Most kids would just want to watch Saturday morning cartoon, I would want to know everything that went into making them.
As for what brought me to meeting with Joe Barbera, in my early-mid teens I became a member of the Warner Bros. Studio Store Collectors Guild which I must admit I joined not only because I was a collector but to get a heads-up on all upcoming signings they had.
I even became such a regular that they wanted to hire me on and put my trivial knowledge to good use even though I was too young to be a employee at the time. They did however take my suggestions for signing guest from time to time... oddly enough know I've helped conduct a signing or two for Comic Oasis, even succeeding with there with one of my guest suggestions for the WB store years before when we managed to get Paul Dini.

That's sweet, if inaccurate. If your vote of confidence ever proves true, you better believe you'll be in the acknowledgements of any books I miraculously manage to publish.
