Some info: Mercury is a native of the planet Relpek, one of the planets invaded by the Haltmann Works Company. By the time Kirby arrived to Relpek to fight the Haltmann forces that had arrived, he (Kirby) found a heroic alien who was fending off the Haltmann forces. That alien was none other than Mercury. After the battle resulted in the defeat of the forces deployed by Haltmann, Kirby and Mercury teamed up in their fight against Haltmann Works Company.
He can acquire copy abilities in the same way Kirby does (i.e. by inhaling enemies)
