So! I finally tried doing a full drawing of my old Gem character, Aside from polishing the concept a little, It sounds a little too out there to fit into the rules of the series, But the concept results very fun to me.
For now, shes called Obsidian (Diane, If you wanna make it any shorter) and she’s a “demolitionist”, she takes care of destroying gem colonies that run out of resources and recycling them as well as wiping out whatever is previously constructed on a planet, Opening the way for terraformer type gems.
Her main way of doing this is by creating enormous orbs that they launch like meteorites towards the desired target, doubling as wrecking balls, Other abilities include manipulating certain dispersed particles such as clouds, sand or dust, making sure that any rubble gets classified and somehow recycled, she can also seemingly float and fly on her own without aid of wings (Tough may have particle wings like clouds), usually orbiting her target like a satelite as she prepares the bombardment. Her weapon of choice (to add to the edgy factor) is a really long Nodachi style sword with extremely heightened cutting power, simply waving it can cut things several hundreds of meters away. However she’s not a designated warrior and as such is very physically frail.
I tend to define her personality as “Cartoon goth chick”, as a way of oversimplifying it, but going in detail, shes somewhat stoic, easily irritable and tries way too hard to act cool. Due her job as someone who would technically bring the end of a world, shes prone to gruesome comments and commonly threatens to “eradicate” anyone she find’s annoying, Threats that have only became more frequent after the discovery of gastronomy.
