y + x = (7/3)
or
y + x = 3.5
so y= 3.5 - x
therefore
(3.5 - x) + x = 3.5
or just
3.5 = 3.5 cause -x + x = 0
so x = 0
so the final equation reads:
3.5 + 0 = 3.5
and if u want it converted back into fractions
(7/2) + 0 = (7/2)
hehehehe math is fuuuuun!

well its a line there r going to be infinite answer do to the fact that the line never ends in a finite space, however i would still like to know how he got any other answer and nows i cant sleep cause of that T.T

XD I sorriez Tom Tommmmm we fix the tom tom rightness by asking x+y=175+5-(14/24)*(x*2) y=12

ok
x+(12)=175+5- (7/12)2x
x= 168 - 31/12x
3.583x = 168
x = 46.8880...

oh i didnt see the + 4 * x at the end... not that it changes the equation all that much but wheeeee!!!
y + x = 3.5 + 4x (this is simplified)
annnnd soooo
y = 3.5 + 3x
(3.5 + 3x) + x = 3.5
3.5 +4x = 3.5
4x = 0
x = 0
y + 0 = 3.5
y = 3.5
final equation still reads:
3.5 + 0 = 3.5 + 0
or
(7/2) + (0) = (7/2) + 4 * (0)

hehehe isnt math great

i so sorry i forgets that these r line graph equations and that x and y will have 2 values >.< silly me
so we have to start out by zeroing out both values so we can plot where the line cross the x and y axis's on the graph which we have already done with the x axis in the form of [0,3.5] so now we need to find the other point where the line will cross the y axis by zeroing out the y which looks something like this:
y=0 so
(0) + x = 3.5 + 4x
-3.5 = 3x
-1.16 repeating = x
so our other point is [-1.6,0]
so the real answer is
x=0,-1.6
y=3.5,0
which can be drawn on a graph that.... i cant actually draw here... T.T sad tom sad
