Ah yes, the piano. Such a wonderful instrument. Its not like some of the others that are wonderful to listen to but horrible to learn (the violin for example).

Yes, because there's something very classic about the piano.
Then again I like it mainly becuase of Beethoven, a lot of his stuff I love to hear on the piano.

I just had to comment on this stamp when I saw it...
I played piano in my elementary/early middle school years, but unfortunately fell out of practice when my life got busy with other things and I had a run of difficulties come up in my path, (my dad being hospitalized was one of them) I feel bad for not picking it up again, but the years I did play were very good in building up my musical talent. I learned how to read notes, and because I was already good at picking out notes from the scale, it helped me out immensely. Now I'm mostly a vocalist, but want to play acoustic guitar sometime soon.
Anyway the reason I really love this stamp is because my best friend, (and current crush) plays the piano masterfully. He doesn't even need sheet music, he plays all by ear. He and I like to sing together and we both write lyrics; I can bring him song lyrics and a melody I've come up with in my head and he can put the music to it in no time flat. He's been playing for eight years, and he just has an amazing ability. I love listening to him play; it really does take practice, dedication, and skill to get very good at playing the piano, and I admire anyone who is willing to go the distance in order to do so.
If this was an "I love Pianists stamp" it would make more sense for me to use, but I just had to comment on this because really, I do admire all pianists out there. You all have such dedication and talent, and you should be proud of that
Anyway sorry for the boring story ^.^; the piano has had quite an influence in my life even if I'm not as good a player as most. Great stamp ^^
