Finally! This one has been hanging around my desk for ages. I'm glad I got around to finish it!

My boyfriend mentionned she looks like a posh version of Tia Dalma from Pirates of the Caribbean, which I haven't watched in AGES - that was not intended, but now I want to see the movies again, ahah.

Also, somebody's been cheating for her palmistry exam, by the looks of it!

haha she does! It's awesome that this is a traditional piece and in this tone of color. I am so excited to one day be able to draw something like this! I'm not saying anything bad by it. I just mean that I cannot see in this color myself yet. When I color I see bright colors, and sort of know how to work with it. But have not figure out how to figure out how to use this sort of color you use in my work yet. ^_^

Figuring out color schemes is really difficult in the beginning - once you get the hang of it it gets easy though! I find that limiting myself to one or two main colors (plus variations of shades around these main colors) helps to build balanced schemes.
