Again I tought about the world, and it's horrible things. First came, war, then came killing after war, and then raping, the horrible thing that I ever know. I think killing is not as bad as getting raped.It's horrible, the raped one get's his/her's life injured as the person's feelings and soul. Badly hurted, more badly than getting stabbed.
Fenale rapings are the most usual in this world, or so we do think, but what about males getting raped?
Young boys in the school raped by teachers, or in some camping, or where-ever. In the bar's bathroom, or in the neighbour when the young or old man is going home.
People doesn't think much about males getting raped. Males are strong, they survive it and stuff like that. Males don't cry.
The hell with that.
Whoever get's raped, he/she won't NEVER get over it.
And in the end, mostly it get's down to a suicide, for the soul is so badly hurted that human can't solve it in his/her's head.

The butterfly: nice touch. It really adds feeling to a picture already full of emotion. I like your description and it brings up a good point. I like this picture, especially because within your gallery of bright brilliand pictures, this one slips by the eye in a dark shadow, so I didnt notice it the first three or four times. But going in, it is a really heart felt piece. The emotion is perfect... and his expression is exact. He looks angry and serious like men are usually sought to be, but he has a tear, which brings up your point about the soft side of them all humans possess. Great job.

I remember we were discussing about that one time, and nobody wanted to believe me that men can be raped. FOr freak's sake, it is possible, wish for all that's holy it wasn't, but it is. Fuckin' rapists, they need to be castrated and whipped on the back or something. How can people possibly hurt others in such a disgusting, engrossing,hateful manner? *turns off the news* Why do they do it? Just to feel like they have the power to dominate someone else?! F*ckers

I'm really glad to hear that I succeeded on my work here. I was really serious and sad when I did this, and the subject it's self touches me so deep, so I feel their sadness and misery.
I wish I could help those people who have been raped, those innocent people and children, but what could we do, more than just support them and show them warmness and care. That's something what they didn't have at the moment when they was raped. Sadly, there are so many raped people, old people, young woman and men, little boys and girls...But that's the way it has always been...and that makes the subject even more stronger and sad
Sadly, we can't do anything about the soul which has been murdered, but atleast we can try and give them hope.
But I'm still glad to hear that my message here was taken, and many people who commented on this were on the same side as you and me. It is a painfull picture, and I didn't draw it out from pleasure, but I'm glad that this message went on people for good. ^^

Its sad because rape is very, too common, here in my town. We're two towns joined (but different nations) so it's double the murder and rape. A lot of girls are raped, murdered, and left to rot on the hot desert sun out in the mountains were the heartless bastards leave their bodies. Sometimes they mutialte them so police can't tell who they are. WHat about the families!? So we have lots and lost of missing girl adds in the stores and places. Lately, news only talks about little boys and girl being kidnapped and raped, and what's even sadder, the majority of the time, it seems to be a family member
But you're right, all we can do is lend out a helping hand.

You're right though. Issues of rape and other sort of themes normally tend to be played as the "deflowering" of " feminine" innocence ((not to say that it's a feminist thing, I'm just saying that most times, it's a girl who's the victim)). And men are supposed to be these strong pillars ((**laughs at himself--I said pillars)), but they have pride, sense of duty, and emotions.

That is so true and so sad. The really sickening apsect of male rape is that a startling percentage of it is done by homophobic men to show their alledged 'purity' over innocent gay men/boys.
Then again, it's not like us 'evil' white males have feelings, eh? Sickening.

thats sad, it makes me want to cry. But its always a good thing I think when you tackle the issue hun, because so very few people do. Most people avoid such a controversial issue but its good that you address it and your artwork speaks out so powerfully about it as well. I really hope that the message gets out there and people are finally ready to understand and accept that rape occurrs on either side and its just as bad for either gender.

You know?? you're right about that.. Women are not the only ones to go through this crap. So many males go through it too, but they are always in denial, and that's why they do it themselves, and keep the viscious circle going... *sigh* ONe of the many bad things in this world, that make me feel helpless that I cannot stop. See, to stop something like this, you need to go deep within the roots of where it started, and erase all that history of abuse. You know what I mean? Abuser, were themselves abused once, and the abused become abusers.. It's a viscious circle..

Yeah, yannow, some of the men that rape other men are straight, it's just more of a superiority thing, which is pretty stupid, competition and that. But yeah, rape is just a horrid thing to happen, and it goes on all the time.

I almost started crying when I saw this picture... Before even reading the description. The raw emotion conveyed with just the image and text alone was enough. It's very powerful.
Rape isn't something to joke about. It can leave scars both emotionally and physically. And all it takes is one thing to spark a forgotten memory and a person can go into relapse. And it's like being raped all over again...but it's mental torture that can tear a person apart.
I have a friend...he was molested when he was overseas and when he told his family about it, they told him to stop lying and sent him to bed. He has a scar from that, and sometimes when he's showering and he feels it, he'll break down. It's a very scary, very real thing.
Of course it is in human nature to destroy, as well as have the urge to dominate someone weaker when you feel insignificant or your ego is wounded. Some people get off on hurting others to make themselves feel like the bigger man.
All and all, this picture is very, very, very beautiful. And very scary. Definitly a favorite. Thank you for sharing this with us, Korone-san.

This is sad, yet it rings so true. People just seem to think these days only women can get raped and not men too... which is sadly traumatizing for all those little boys who get molested or raped and then people act like what happened to them wasn't NEAR bad enough compared to what happens to girls, oh no no. I think it's because people seem to think just 'cause a girl can get pregnant from rapes (which would indeed wig me out if it ever happened but it's not like they can't get that taken care of or anything with medication/surgery) that men automatically don't have it as bad or as emotionally traumatizing. Which is dumb but then again most people tend to be a lot of the time. =.=

But other than that the picture is great in its own grotesque yet realistic approach.
The mood of the picture fits very well to the subject and the way you have written the text looks great; so dirty and grungy.
It looks like the boy would have wrapped himself in a safe little room inside his head... Being in a room with such small amount of space, yet the room being the only place where he can cry and be weak without having to worry about someone hurting him again.
It would be good if more people realized that men can be raped too, and that it is as humiliating to them as it is for women.
