Description
Shortly after Kovu is exiled, Mheetu finds him on a path into the Roguelands. Confused, he asks for answers from the young lion only to hear a story of betrayal and death. A story Mheetu is all too familiar with. This is not the first time a lion was marked with a scar by someone they loved and trusted. Mheetu expounds on this story to Kovu, who is appalled to know that Simba has hurt the both of them.

When Mheetu was still the Leader of the Lion Guard, Simba suspected him and Zira of killing Kopa. When Mheetu tried to plead his own case, Simba struck him and sent him into banishment.
