I hope you're not getting sick of new stuff from me!!!I've been wanting to do this one for years, so I took a break from my colored stuff to do this one of Emmy five years ago on her 2-year-old birthday. Photograph by her daddy, Lightworks - the reference photo isn't in his gallery.

I didn't keep track very well today, but about 4-5 hours, maybe???
I may go back and do some touch ups...who knows? I'll look at it tomorrow and decide...

Seeing all your new work and old...again...made me realize I need to work on what meager skillz I possess, but my Ouija board broke under the weight of the goat and I spilled Dr Pepper all over my copy of the Necronomicon ...all this trouble. Satan should just get a phone number like everyone else. I thought I had it once, but 666 just got me Dick Cheney's voice mail.
As usual you have a way of making simple graphite and paper come alive and googoogahgah through the screen. It's amazing how it looks so tangible...not that I would touch it. Studies have shown that I'm allergic to babies...and work...and mustard...I almost died at the hands of a mustard covered baby boss. Thankfully I have many continues and there was a save point at the clinic.
I would fave this, but I have to fave 2 more things to get it off my page. No offense but I don't like being stared at. Unless I'm doing magic tricks. hmmm...maybe I'll just go get my top hat and bunny....and the bunny's muzzle....cause it bites.

You really should write a humor column - the world is waiting for the next great Dave Barry type, y'know. Every time you leave me a message, I end up reading it over and over and having many good laughs.

Always think positively - I can do this if I take my time...stuff like that. Whenever I think to myself "this is too hard" I can't do it... There is a lot of power in thought as they say. My voice teacher, Michael Ballam, used to say when I'd say "I can't hit that high note" or "I can't hold that note that long" that I had to say "I CAN hit that high note" and "I CAN hold that note that long"...we tell ourselves we can't do something and then we believe it!
So I just went off, huh? Anyway, your daughter is so sweet and your drawing is lovely. Thanks for sharing. Keep it up!

I like your way of thinking and thanks. sry it took so long for me to respond btw I been busy. actualy, that drawing was the first sketch in 3 yrs and when I started it I actualy was messing up a lot and I had said, "I forgot how to draw!" lol more of a joke then being serious but I was able to pull it together and create art I'm proud of and thanks for taking the time to look at it

Nope, I haven't heard of Jessie Clark. I used to be into all the church artists when I was younger and lived in Utah. Now, ummmm... well, I like Eclipse a lot (my brother in law was asked to be a member I think - he was mission companions with Patrick Rose, the lead singer and guy who writes a lot of their music) and a couple of years ago I got a CD from Jericho Road. I also have a CD by...oh, what's her first name...Christina England... I remember her when she was 4 or 5 - I went to High School with her older sisters. But, other than that, I'm pretty out of it!
