Took me about 10 hours, maybe?
This is my 3rd colored portrait ever. I really like how the jeans turned out and I'm happy that I'm learning how to do colors!

The colors are so cheerful and vivid! It's like a photo, but better; it reminds me of scenes in which the colors are made rich and fuller to imitate a vision of heaven.

Working with colours is really hard, I tried and decided I'm not good at all with them

Berol Prismacolors, a pencil colorless blender, a pen colorless blender, and rubbing alcohol! (the alcohol is what made the colors so bright I think, but it's a great blender if you don't use too much and compensate for the way it brightens the colors - at least the green!)

Oh! That is a huge difference in color, to say the least! Really like the bright coloration and the lighting.
Can't see why you hate the background, looks fine to me, but if you don't like it then I guess that is the most important view, since you actually created it.
