This is a very cool image indeed! And yes, you are lucky! Here, most of the places that look like you could get an interesting photograph is posted with "No Trespassing" signs and if you get caught, most likely the law is involved...

awesome. We have abandoned buildings here but I have an overwhelming fear of getting in trouble with the law lol
I ALWAYS get caught. Not sure what the laws are like there when it comes to where you can take pictures. But you are a blessed guy if you haven't gotten kicked out of one abandoned building yet.
