All these Splash Hill mockups are tests on how well Splash Hill graphics work over Emerald Hill chunks. Also a mockup HUD design, in which items in use are shown (in this order, top to bottom): Shield, Combi Ring (aka blue/silver ring), Invincibility, and Speed Shoes. An even cooler idea is the Speed Shoes graphics change depending on character in use (Speed Shoe graphics from Chaotix show for Sonic (whether with Tails or not), Knuckles' shoes show when playing as Knuckles, Tails' shoes show up when playing as him alone). Maybe even their life symbols change when Hyper or not too! I mean, Sonic 4 happens after S3K, and Chaotix as well, so why would Sonic and Knuckles revert to using Super forms? Plus, time for Tails to ascend a level forward too!!This makes me wish I knew how to use SonLVL or SonED worth a crap.

I made a DeviantArt account just now to say this but today I was thinking about different concepts for Sonic ROM hacks. I was considering doing a Sonic 2 hack which would remake Sonic Chaos/Sonic Triple Trouble and I also considered remaking Sonic 4. Just a few hours later I discover your DeviantArt profile and find out that my ideas have already been done!! Dude, seriously, you NEED to learn 16-bit Sonic ROM hacking. I'm a beginner and I definitely recommend SonLVL. It's very easy to use. Just make sure you download one of the GitHub disassembles, as they're already set up for SonLVL. Trust me, it's not complicated at all and you don't need to know coding (at least for cosmetic and level changes). Your 8-bit ROM hacks and mockups are amazing too. I love seeing ROM hacks and demakes and your stuff is awesome. Sorry if I'm fanboying too much but I love everything about your work.
