yes. the main reason many say it's a romantic pairing is because one of the traditions Japanese males will do is shower their potential woman with gifts for affection and that is exactly what Sesshomaru was doing for Rin at the end always giving her kimonos

I thought that was him showing that she was officially part of his pack by dressing her in clothing fitting of the daughter of the Lord of the Western Lands, that's what I've heard from the fans who support the father/daughter relationship.Β

To be honest, as cute as the father and daughter relationship is I'd probably be on the romantic relationship side if Rin had a more powerful personality and was able to physically fight at his side as a equal. Lol those are my absolute favourite kinds of relationships so with Rin not being able to fulfill that and seeing how cute their father and daughter-like relationship was with her at such a young age I ended up preferring the platonic relationship
