Description
This is a character I'm creating for a roleplaying game. He's an undine. I want him to be strong and smart, so I'm thinking of making him a Magus, who uses his weapons for spells. His name means "The Flexible Power of Water" in Turkish. I hope it isn't cultural appropriation. I'm basically using it because it sounds cool and sounds like I think an underwater language would sound. I think this is the first male RPG character I will play. I usually play women. I'm trying to use roleplaying games to consider how one performs masculinity and femininity.
I've been making things in Hero Forge, taking a break from more serious compositions, something to get and keep the creative juices flowing. Hero Forge is a site where you can design, take screen captures of, and buy miniature figures, based on an impressive array of pre-made posable components and customizable paints. It's like a combination of posable dolls and coloring books, very soothing. From what I understand, Hero Forge is okay with you sharing the screen captures of your creations, as long as you don't use them for a "commercial purpose." According to Hero Forge, "You will retain all ownership rights in and to the general and abstract elements of original characters that you created prior to using heroforge.com, including their names and basic elements, but the actual depictions of them and any 3D Models based on them that you may create on or through heroforge.com are the property of Sky Castle Studios."
