This looks pretty awesome. I like the pose, very nice job there. It looks very natural the way you balanced the sitting pose, with her knees bent like that and the arms holding some of her weight in the back.
The expression is awesome. I like the big smile, but I like how it's not exactly a cheery, happy smile, but a kinda mischievous smile that fits her personality nicely.
The colors look great...Its digital, but has a traditional painting feel in how complex the "brushstrokes" are in softly transitioning lighter areas from the shadows.
And even though I've only seen a couple of eps with her (I don't have access to a TV when Avatar is on very often so I have to wait for the DVD boxsets >>;; ) I instantly thought she was awesome! XD

Toph is my fav character in avatar, though like you, we have to wait a while for the episodes to come out here. I ended up watching alot of them on youtube
I'm really happy you think I managed to get across her personality in the face. Expression is my favorite aspect of drawing a character ^.^

omg. right. omg. on the weekend, right, I watched this episode where Toph was like this badass ber stealth ninja who kicked supreme amounts of ass. It was good! She is a cool cookie. Got a silly name though, I keep thinking of it as 'toff'
