A personal request from a colleague at work

Moment of truth: JR asked me to fashion him a tattoo with geometric shapes like an African tribal tattoo. After several hours into drafting, he was mystified. After I was done he loved it. He asked me what it means. All I told him was, "I drew what I saw in your soul." Until recently, I found out what I actually drew. It's the African symbol, "Sankofa." So, here's to you JR: "Learn from your past and take hold of who you're destined to be." This will be my 5th entry for #inktober2016
