Alright alright alright alright

I really wanted to do something for Inktober and like prove that my ink drawings aren’t always shit. It took me a little while to figure out what I wanted to do because I definitely didn’t have enough time to do a daily Inktober challenge. Then I stumbled across my Inktober drawing from 2015, and I realized that I had to redraw it.

The 2015 Drawing was of a girl named Kayuki from a manga called “Record of a Fallen Vampire” which was originally written in 2003 for a shonen magazine and then collected in volumes. I reread it after seeing my old drawing and hoo boy. I’m not going to recommend any of you read it, since it’s pretty bad. All of my love for it comes through nostalgia, and there are some pretty sad parts of the story that caught me off guard.

I’ll be posting two versions of this drawing, this one and a comparison between the two. As well, I’ve started two other Inktober drawings for the series because I realized about halfway through the series that I don’t really like Kayuki, and I wish I had drawn one of my two favorites, Bridget or Stella.
