The Adventures of the Lunar Lions and Mars Monkey.

Teaming up once again with *jestercat , I bring you this! (And I mainly bring you this because people bug me to make things after 1 1/2 months. I've got like 12 notes, thank you people.) Anyway, as usual, I came up with the idea (and I'm not sure how I thought of it, really) and she gave me this genius sketch, and then I vectored it. (And, in case you can't tell, that space ship is a giant penguin.)

Thralazar, a native of Idaho desperately needed to get a job. So, why not head to the east coast and join the mob? Good pay, neat assignments, good Italian food, etc. So, Thralazar did just that. And, when stopping by for his big job interview, he knew he needed to dress to impress. So, while buying a red bandana, a 9mm, and the latest 50 cent CD, he also studied up on his vocabulary. He was indeed about to "Take it all to the curb" with this excellent style.

At first, the mob bosses were a little confused by Thralazar and figured that he must be from a far off land called "YUROP" and decided to let him sleep with the fishes. Thralazar, having never watched a mob movie, was overjoyed that his first assignment would involve the ocean! Oh, how he loved the ocean. So, the mob gansters pushed him into the ocean later that night with an anchor tied to his feet. Completely in love with his new job, Thralazar smiled on his way down until he realized that the mob forgot to include the proper supplies for this underwater environment. After several minutes of intense thinking, he started to notice that he was indeed out of air and choking on gallons of sea water at a time. Slightly vexed, he started to get angry at the mobsters lack of intelligence when it came to sleeping with the fish. But later on, he found an undersea motel and hung with some very happenning oysters for the night.

The moral of the story is ... that even when things are getting you down, you can always count on the possibility of an undersea motel.
