Ha, finally scanned in Lara (Julie Christie as Lara from the movie "Doctor Zhivago"). I entered her with Dr. Zhivago in our county fair. She got First Place and Best of Class.
So there's my amateurish attempt at a sort of background (I have to get better at those!!) and women's hair. Which I hate drawing. Rarg. And I really do not like my scanner right now. It's almost not worth putting stuff up here when it looks so terrible.
Ok I am done grouching.

Pasternaks Zhivago is absolutly wonderful like your portrait of Lara is, great light and shadows, wonderful Hair and Eyes, the whole image is just beautiful and reminds of this tragic but also very beautiful story ...
