1. Her favorite color is a baby blue.

It reminded her of the ocean by which she lived. Some days she would wake up really early in the morning, before anyone else in her family was awake, she would wrap a blanket around her shoulders and go outside. She would stand on the beach and watch as the mist rolled in off the ocean in gentle light blue clouds. Victoire loved how the mist made ever quiet and mysterious. This was her favorite time of the day and only ever shared it with one person, Teddy.

2. She was very close to her mother.

Victoire and Fleur had a very close relationship. They had quite a bit in common and loved spending afternoons together cooking and sewing and making little things out of seashells.

Victoire was very thankful for this relationship with her mother. She never got close to her sister Dominique, even though she tried. Dominique was just to tomboyish and wild for Victoire.  Victoire didn't even really have any cousins close to her age. She was older than all of them and was always taking care of them.

3. Her best friend was Teddy Lupin

She and Teddy Lupin had grown up together. He had always been there for her and was like a big brother. He was older than her and as they grew up she found herself always trying to keep up with him.

They started to grow apart after he went to Hogwarts. Obviously they spent less time together but Teddy also started to make new friends and forget about Victoire.  When she got to Hogwarts they hardly spoke even though they both were in Hufflepuff. This made Victoire really sad but eventually she made new friends too and she and Teddy just hung out at family getherings.

4. She knew she wanted to work at St. Mungos since 3rd year

It just seemed like the perfect job for her. She had always been particularly good at healing spells and potions. In her 5th year she expressed her interest to Madame Laughlin who then had Victoire work short shifts beside her.

After she graduated Victoire did volunteer at Hogwarts then got a position at St. Mungos. She's been working there every since.

5. Victoire knew she loved Teddy when she 16.

He had just gotten into a terrible quidditch accident and she was sitting by him in the hospital wind. She could remember asking herself over and over why had it taken her so long and a near death experience for her to realize she loved Teddy? He had been badly bruised and two broken legs. He had also broken a couple ribs almost doing damage to a couple organs.

Thank Merlin he had lived. The day after he got out of St. Mungos she confessed her love. He just grinned at her and kissed her. That's when they started dating and got married soon after.

6. She and Teddy had had a shotgun wedding.

It wasn't exactly the perfect, magical wedding she had planned out as a little girl. She was 20 when she found out she was pregnant, she and Teddy had been dating for four years and Victoire was sure they were going to get married eventually but she couldn't help but be scared.

She told him that night. She had wanted to be strong and calm but as soon as she imagined her baby having his beautiful sea green eyes she broke down. Teddy had been very confused as she tried to spit out the words that could lead to many different things. But when she finally said, "I'm pregnant" he held her in his arms and rocked her back and forth.  She fell asleep that way, with salty tears dried on her cheeks.

The next day Teddy took her to the beach. He got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. She said yes and the wedding happened a month later.  It was a simple ceremony but it was good enough for Victoire and Teddy.  The colors were simply baby blue and white and they held the ceremony on the beach by Shell Cottage. Only family was invited just as Victoire had wanted. No one guessed that she had been pregnant.

7. After 8 months of happy marriage Teddy and Victoire welcomed a baby girl.

She was beautiful. She had victories natural beauty and grace but also possessed Teddy's metamorphmagus tendencies.  They decided to name her Eliza Nymphadora Lupin after Teddy's mother and Victoire's personal hero, Madame Eliza Laughlin.

8. After Eliza, Teddy and Victoire had four more kids.

Victoire had always wanted a large family, she refused to settle for less than at least four kids.

After Eliza came their first son, William and then the twins Renee and Rand. Then came the youngest, little Gabrielle.

9. Victoire loved babies.

She hated watching her little ones grow up and go off to Hogwarts. One of the hardest things she ever did was put Eliza onto the train to Hogwarts. She just couldn't wave goodbye knowing she wouldn't see her baby girl for months. It got easier with each child but it was still hard.

10. After the twins were born Victoire quit her job.

Of course she loved her job but she loved her family more. She wanted to be there for every moment of her kids' childhood. And it was just to difficult going in between home and work. Plus she couldn't bring four babies to work with her! A hospital was no place to have little kids running free getting into mischief.
