I'd imagine this lands as a towering spire, and opens up in a similar fashion to a blossoming flower, am I correct?
It looks stunning (though either hostile, as evidenced by the seeming destruction of the city, or they've landed on Earth after some sort of cataclysm).

i just love the idea here.
Huge ominous ships seem to be always depicted as arriving and floating or hovering over cities.
i love the idea that the ships would just slam into the surface regardless (or perhaps because of?) what's underneath them.
Only then opening up to say "hi" or "die" or whatever.
This is really cool. And well done.

This one reallly kept my attention!
As someone said, you can feel pretty well the scale, but you don't feel the power... maybe a little more work on the smoke below the "ship" could enhance it don't you think?
Well detailed sity also with cars and parking lots and all. When i saw behind the river and the ship that some others where landing/ed, i felt the drama and humanity of the piece
