He can surround his Claymore with it for attacking, or direct the flow in twisting or changing directions. This flame is weaker than Dragon's Breath, but more easily maneuvered.
[Passive] Draconic Constitution: The skin of the Draco people is naturally tough, and, combined with their dense weight, makes them sturdy and resistant to physical injury even without armor.

Barely an adult by Dracon standards, and with a confident, easy-going personality to match his youth, Malphas is an eager adventurer. The circumstances of his departure from Patreeon may not have been happy, but he nevertheless has taken to his new life on the road like a— well, like a dragon to flight. Malphas is, to the very core of his heart, a lover of people. He has a great fondness for the lives and loves and struggles of others, especially humans, whose very existence in Aesthia is such a fantastic mystery. Malphas makes new friends easily on his travelers, often relying on the hospitality of others for food and shelter and companionship as he wanders; he then goes out of the lives of friends just as easily when he moves on again, for as much as he loves people, his experience with commitment leaves something to be desired.

One of the (many, and varied) benefits of his travels is, of course, the fighting. Malphas loves nothing more than a challenge. While he's far from the sort to look for trouble where it doesn't need to be found, he is more than happy to finish a fight that finds him. He is confident, almost to the point of cockiness, but that's not to say he isn't perfectly aware of his weaknesses—he just doesn't see the point in denying those things he is good at. His strong beliefs in his own abilities, and in what he feels to be right and wrong, gives him something of stubborn streak.
Story:
The subject of Malphas's departure from Patreeon is something of a sore spot. According to him, it was either his own choice to start out on an adventure, or a tactical retreat owing to a small misunderstanding — the answer varies wildly depending on how sober or not he is when giving it. Whatever the case, what is clear is that he grew up within a clan of fire-affiliated Draco of the Sky Tower, and it was a happy childhood. After his departure, he has cut almost all ties with his clan, and has not set foot back on Patreeon or the Sky Tower since.

For a time, Malphas traveled alone. He fought beasts when they attacked, wandered the wilderness, and practiced his magic with the spirit of flame he'd contracted. Solitude, however, did not suit him, and he began to venture out of the wilds of the world and towards more populated areas. He had never been out of the Sky Tower before, and the cities and villages built up by the newly arrived humans were a point of fascination for him. From there, he traveled with a lighter heart, joining up with a bands of other adventurers here and there as he came across them. Such encounters soothed his natural need for companionship, and made those nights he slept along under the stars more bearable.
