Description
Beyond the high wallsof a barricaded world,
their unfamiliar faces
watched me breathe.
Reaching out again
against my fears within,
but this voice wilted soft
then chose not to speak.

I have felt this way, in fleeting moments, as I am a human and in touch with a wide range of emotions. But mainly I feel grateful, content, and deeply loved.

I'm a writer so I try to get meaning out of anything, and this is a little vague, but it sounds like the life of a model to me. I was a photographer 20+ years ago and it sounds like the eyes behind the camera ..or being watched by millions on the printed page.

No, I don't have a larger version of the icon - I designed it specifically to use as the icon for my poems and writings.
I like the image, it's the first time I've seen it. It really does resemble me.
As for your guess, yes it is about my life as a model...but it goes a little further than that, extending to my personal life as well. I wasn't directing it to the eyes behind a camera or the millions who view my images, though. Keeping the meaning vague, as I originally set out for this piece.

Ah, bummer. I'd love to use that profile pic for Miki. It's a beautiful icon. Nice poem, even being so vague. At least I got a little bit of your idea of it right. Thx for checking out the latest work in progress of Miki Lee. I'm glad you think I got the face right. Miki is basically you with a ton of muscle. With the over coat covering her arms and just showing her curves, she is you as a comic. Hope you don't mind. She has always been my most favored character, and since you allowed me to use you for reference, shes even more popular. I have updated the post and will keep doing so till finished. Ill note you on your front page when done to see what you think.
