Description

I am really getting immersed in drawing mermaids, so much so I am actually ignoring my other galleries. I have so many sketches of mermaids which I want to make into full pictures, it's unbelievable.

Now that I have a specialized mermaid gallery folder, I've decided to draw more of a traditional mermaid. Traditional in a sense that she is not wearing an opulent dress which covers her entire body. It's a minimal outfit made of seashells and ... painted seaweed, I guess. The point is it covers only about 30% of her body and her fins are the true star. Naturally, I still wanted to do something more creative with her fins so she not only has tail fins but also arm fins, kinda like wings I suppose but I already have a 'winged mermaid' so what should I call this design? I don't know.

Another thing I wanted to improve was some undersea flora. It's about time my pictures featured some brighter colour, greenery and various corals.
