:// Mahou File
Mahou Alias: Seiteki
Alias: Parasite ☆゚.*・。゚
Level: 1
Description:
Seiteki’s appearance is that of a young teenager dressed in simple attire with elven features. Catching sight of Seiteki is extremely difficult as her power is a type of camouflage. Seiteki never makes herself known and even if she tried it would not matter, for her power makes everyone forget her existence in mere seconds. She was born from Eri’s wish: I want to blend in with others.
Skill: Brood Parasite
As the name suggests, Seiteki’s power mimics that of a brood parasite. She can blend in with any person/group successfully without question. Seiteki is not, of course, invisible, nor does she warp others perceptions of her. People can see and interact with Seiteki, however, they will forget her after interaction. What they will remember is having done something. The next time they encounter Seiteki they will recall everything that happened in their past interaction.
Strengths:
+ Infiltration
+ Adaptability
+ Memory Fluctuation
Weaknesses:
- More of a stealth operator than a fighter; however, she is not weak.
- Memory lapses
People often fail to recall Seiteki, thus resulting in failed promises.
- Perceptive Mahous
Mahou’s whose power rely heavily on perception can easily see Seiteki.
[They may come off as crazy though, as no one else will be able to sense her.]

** Note that Eri is 10 and her personality is still growing.
Eri’s personality fluctuates depending on whether she is in her Mahou form.
Unlike most children her age Eri is not one for socializing, nor is she keen on what her peers see as entertaining or attractive. She certainly falls into the ‘nerd’ category, finding topics such as science, math, and arts more intriguing than sports and leisure. Her lack of interest in such activities often gets her pushed around and judged immensely by her peers. As such she has taken on a withdrawn and silent trope.
At home Eri is not far from different. She is slightly more open toward her parents, yet keeps major issues to herself. Her parents refer to her as absentminded, as she rarely thinks before she acts in their presence. This is due to her nervousness surrounding recent events in her life.
In her Mahou form Eri takes on a pessimistic and vindictive persona. While her power only served to make her more hidden, it gained her access to social groups she thought not possible before. She takes pleasure in knowing secrets that others have confided in her, only to forget her moments later. Make no mistake, Eri maybe a child but she is full-on destructive when transformed. She loves spreading secrets around and watching bridges burn and friendships tumble in her wake. Eri also sees no difference in Mahous, Humans, or the monsters they are supposed to fight. The child has little to no regard in life itself.
Perhaps the only outlier that is immune to Eri’s common personality is her brother, Eita. Eri absolutely adores and idolizes her brother. She does everything in her power to be at his side twenty-four seven, even going as far as to stop by his home when on the way to school. She feels safe around Eita, and relaxes considerably when they are together. In times like this she is a bubbly, happy-go-lucky ten year old.
「History」
Eri really was nothing special. She had been led to believe she was special, of course. Who in this day and age wasn’t? Authoritative figures in her life constantly told her that she could do whatever she wanted; be, whatever she wanted. Great, in theory, stupid in practice. Eri was ten, she was not a fool.
There was no such thing as special.
There was only her and others, and it just so happened that some triumphed and others failed. She fell into the category of triumph, well, for that year at least. Getting knocked over was always a reality. Perhaps that was why Eri spent her days obsessing over literature and mathematics rather than sports and leisure. She refused to be at the bottom.
Naturally, not being at the bottom was impossible. A person cannot be at the top of every food chain. Well, maybe they could, but not Eri. She was not a physical whirlwind of nature. Was she the worst at soccer? No. Was she the worst at track? No. She was average, and being average may as well be the worst.
It was enough to get her shoved around at the very least. Was she bothered by this? Not entirely. All kids got bullied sometime in their life. Now it was her turn. It would pass. All things passed. Besides…
She knew she was better than them.
They were all plebeians in Eri’s eye. Her peers, her parents, and her teachers. They all fell into mainstream society, did what they were told, and had no issue with it. Eri could not imagine a life so bleak, but she was ten.
What did ten year olds know?
Nothing, to adults.
Her home life was drab. Her father and mother worked more than they ate and slept combined. Not because they were poor. No, her family was more than well off. It was because they were greedy. No amount was ever enough. Nothing, was ever enough.
Eri, was not enough.
Neither was her brother, Eita, apparently. He had taken flight the minute his wings were readily available. Eri did not judge him. She too would fly if she could, but her wings were still growing. To say he left a hole in her heart would be an understatement. Eri knew that she irked Eita. What younger sibling wasn’t annoying? But he cared for her, despite her pestering.
He had left her a gift, however, before his departure. A phone for her to call him with. A phone, for her to reach out to others with. None of which she did. She did, however, download a game to pass the time between studying. A game called Mahou Project. Briefly she had considered that she was too old to be playing such games. She was ten! Not five, but her younger nature got the better of her.
She never expected the game would become her second life. Both figuratively and literally.
Climbing to the top ten percent had proved more difficult than Eri cared to imagine. She had not set out to be the best, for once, but it had come to her. The child thought nothing of it when it happened, until a message appeared on her screen.
Would you like to become a real life Mahou?
Eri considered it to be a joke. Perhaps this was another level in the game. A secret unlockable? Either way, she was curious and so she replied yes.
What is your wish?
What an irritating question, truly. Eri knew how these questions worked. Double-sided! Always were in the movies. She squinted her eyes at the screen. It would be best to put a simple request, nothing too far-fetched. She did not want to end up on some desert island somewhere.
I want to blend in with others.
Eek, if only she had known what that entailed.

The backside of her backpack!
Beneath Seiteki's sleeves are black claws!
Her hair flows like clouds, constantly swirling.
