Sometimes, when I get excited for something, I go ahead and finish it too fast. Oopsie doops. This was REALLY fun to do. At first I was thinking 'Oh crap drawing Vali over and over is going to be hard.' Turns out it really isn't.

PS. As an easter egg of sorts, one of Vali's soldiers, Salmon, is the very same guy who I've drawn a few weeks back in a much ....sadder picture, appears and is alive and well! Oh happy days~

What dimensions and ppi did you use to create each panel? Then how did you compile them all together?
Just wondering cuz I'm entering this oct too and I wanted to format my comics like this. I just don't know how you did it....

Ohh geez. I believe its 300ppi and for each panel I literally used the rectangular marquee tool and eyeballed the size. My stuff is digital from start to finish, so I started on a 2000x18000 canvas and stretches the canvas as I needed. When I finished I resized the whole thing.

Yeah, use the crop tool but instead of going inward, go outward. It extends the canvas and stretches nothing.

Even without seeing her mouth, General Vali has wonderful expressions.
Her expression in panel three is almost a little haunting though. It just shows me she's been through so much. Poor Vali! All of her past trauma and now a tournament she really doesn't need to deal with! At the same time, it's also a bit funny to react like that when an explosion is happening. I'm pretty amazed that even the soldiers weren't going for some kind of cover or at least duck to avoid possible shrapnel. These people know what they're doing!
There is an unexplainable charm I always find in your art style. The way you are able to achieve a sense of harmony between cell-shading paired with your art style just works so well somehow! Even through watching the process on your streams several times, I still don't feel like I could achieve the same kind of magic that you can!
Regardless of my comments, please just continue to produce great art and I sincerely wish you and General Vali luck. To be honest though, I don't think you will need very much of it, if at all!

In rounds to come, you just might see how bad it was for Vali in her 7 years.
The Markovians are Vali's world's alternates of hardcore Russian (hence the russian accent Vali has...) so EXPLOSIONS ARE COMMONPLACE. Hawhaw.
