Thank you. I have created a few mud puddles in the past.
I got lucky with the two I posted recently.

Very very welcome....lately if I make mud, I wait until it dries and then
swipe over it with brights..sort of equals it all out

Yes, I think in the future, if I make something that doesn't satisfy me
I will just cover it with white paint or Gesso and start over again. I will
probably do it with canvas. Cardboard is more easier to throw away.

If I do something on cardboard, I cut the top layer off the cardboard
and peel off the painting...to incorporate it into something else...
I save everything I paint, and its easier in the PigPen to keep small
pieces instead of huge chunks of cardboard....If I ever fall and breakΒ
my neck in there no one will find me for a week.....LOL

That sounds like a good idea, I will give that a try.
Sometimes I feel I am wasting too much material.
I do use cardboard a lot and I do save everything
that is packaged cardboard. Very rarely do I buy
canvas.
