Description Siavash: "How can you even BEND that way?!"

Saellen and Siavash had fun one Friday night, browsing the more controversial shelf collections of Dalaran Library. Saellen told Siavash about a student tradition amongst mages, where the students had to find the most controversial subject they could, flip up on page 36, and if it was blank, they should write their initials in the book to forever be part of history that way. What was on page 36 of the book Saellen found, I'll leave for your imagination!

Siavash, the beardy bastard is my character, while Saellen is 's character. I've only read his description on text, without any visual guidelines, so I am curious to hear how near/far he's to what he pictures the character looks like. It was fun to make no matter what!

Blood elves are copyrighted Blizzard, and since the background used in this picture is a print screen from WoW, the credits goes to them!

I enjoy the idea of the story behind this piece. The art itself is great, with Siavash's expression crowning it. But... I cannot help but notice that either the Dalaran scribes likes to write their tomes similar to how manga are drawn, or you reversed the covers to the book Saellen's holding.

The expressions on their faces are just great! And I agree that they really go well with the background.

I absolutely love the pic. I love how you once again managed to capture the emotions on their faces and you managed to capture Sae quite well too If I can find anything to nag about is that Sae is probably a bit shorter even but that is nitpicking it is absolutely delightful in every possible way!

I did think of it actually - to begin wit, he was further down... but the composition looked so weird that I consciously cramped them a little more towards the middle. Otherwise they'd have to be further away or Siavash's ears would be cropped, together with Saellen's fingers. Let's pretend he stands on the table lol!

Hehehe totally! Sae always stands on his tiptoes anyways!

AAAA. I saw this on AA and thought I should break my terrified silence to say THIS IS BEAUTIFUL. I really love how well you blend characters into screenshot backgrounds! It's usually a case of "WHOA, THESE DON'T BELONG HERE", but here it looks so natural//downright LOVELY that you wouldn't at all notice at first glance. Also your lines/faces/everything are so expressive and make me so happy whenever you upload art.

The only thing I can recommend is maybe lightening the whole piece a little! I'm not sure if it's my monitor that's too dark, but some of the detail's lost in the darker hues of Saellen's clothing and Siavash's hair. Very minor/nitpickery though-- and it's not really much of a problem!

Awwh, thank you - I'm happy you like it!
It could very likely be a monitor thing - I know that my main monitor shows things lighter than my 2nday! I usually flip it to the 2ndary just to check for good measure, before uploading, but sometimes it's not always enough. It's especially hard with pictures that are supposed to be darker than average, like here where they're in a vaguely lid hall, or the previous where they're passing a narrow street.
I've tried to do some tests on the monitor, but apparently it's not made it much better. Perhaps I should try make a refreshed attempt just to check if I can do anything else.
Thanks for the feedback!
