Description Alright, sorry it's been so long. Trying to explain/knowing what needed explanation and what was obvious just didn't seem to be working. I'm still developing the class a little each time I teach it. Please credit and link back to me if you use it.

Again, suggestions for clarification would be good

Have fun and let me know what you make!

Btw, should I keep posting links if I make more or did you just want to see the first tries?

Do i have permission to sell the ones i make? I have been experimenting with different styles so it wont be exact replicas of yours, but i just want to make sure.

magpiesmiscellany In reply to M0thkid [2013-09-14 04:12:12 +0000 UTC]

As long as you do some serious modifications, plenty of people make trees already, I'd just rather you don't sell them until they don't look like mine anymore. (Otherwise I'd do the more common thing on here and sell tutorials, but that always feels a little off to me.)

This seems like an awesome project! I can't wait to try this out.

Is the wire you used dead soft?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

magpiesmiscellany In reply to overtheact [2013-09-08 02:30:53 +0000 UTC]

Yep. I find dead soft makes nice spirals. That's part of the reason why hammering the frame to work harden it a little is good

Very cool. My first attempt at a Tree of Life pendant was similar to this, but very much a stab in the dark. This will help with future efforts.

Oh gosh, sometimes that's the worst. I have that problem with papercrafts. I binged on paper when a place went out of business years ago, still haven't figured what to do with most of it!

(I think with most crafts the trick is to start with stuff cheap enought that you won't be too mad at yourself if you mess it up irredeemably but nice enough you can show it off if you rock it and just jump in.)

lol, ya its one of my traits as an Aries me thinks..  if I wanna try something I go all off, there's no halfway with me lol... just started delving into digital scrapbooking so I can make a memorial book for my mom.  Ive already filled a thumb drive with the free stuff I've found LOL... least i didnt spend money though!

I'm not good with digital unfortunately, I wish, it'd be cheaper and better for my resume!
