Description
This is an illustration based on a Norwegian fairy tale, where a king has been cursed by a witch to appear as a great white bear during daytime. He gets a princess after offering her a golden wreath, and the princess is key to undoing his curse - as long as she never sees his human form at night until three years have passed (which of course doesn't go quite as planned).

I saw a movie when I was little about this story but I always thought it was an spin off of Cupid and Psyche's tale..I couldn't remember the name of the movie so I could never look it up...
