Full version of yesterday's fragment. Watercolor and pencils on A3 paper.

Not a lot is known about Celebrian, except that she was Galadriel's daughter, Elrond's wife and the mother of Elladan, Elrohir and Arwen. The only episode that is mentioned is that she was tortured by Sauron's minions in Dol Guldur and after the rescue sought peace in the land of Valar.

I thought a lot about her posture when planning this and tried different hand gestures, but this pose - standstill with her hands down kept returning. Like she is caught there in that moment in those flowers but can't do anything. A flightless bird.
I definitely messed the composition - it is too static and I'm not happy with the proportions, but I couldn't throw it away and I actually like this portrait's mood
