This is very, very cute. I think the vignetting in the top is too strong, or at least the wrong shape. Something is bothering me with the roses too, I think they should look more dream like... but that's just personal. Also, did you gimp out right-hand middle section just above piano? It looks messy. The book is beautiful though, shadows, colours and all

Nope, didn't touch that bit - didn't use Gimp at all in fact - the painting is just messy on its own. What on earth do you mean by "more dream like" though? Something is irking me about the roses as well, but I have no idea what to do to them.
