I have not thought to mix watercolor and pastel yet, two of my favorite media. Nor have I yet used color in such a dynamic vibrant way as you have in this painting. Thank you so much for the inspiration!

Beautiful work. I think we used the same reference for this one at some point. Here is my old drawing of it, not at all as glamorous or well-proportioned (I don't really like the lip), but still a good exercise.

Your color choices never cease to amaze me <3 Do you just go with the flow of the mood, or is there a "math" to how you choose your colors? Asking because no matter the piece or how many colors you use, it works together so beautifully and as someone who's trying to incorporate more color into all of their art, I admire how well you use it
