Description
The story that kind of unfolded in my head as I drew this was that the girl was trying to sculpt and paint from memory some character/creature she saw on some fantastical adventure somewhere.

I dont normally go for backgrounds (and i hardly have here) - but now i see them in the potential for composition and narrative formation im much more interested.

I set out on this with the intention of having the same level of finish over the whole picture, much as I did with my last picture but ... I got this far and thought it communicated enough of what i wanted, so left it.

Photoshop, no ref, one brush for the whole pic (hard round transparent) with a little smidge of airbrush. Approx 6 hours, all comments welcome and appreciated.
