I've kind of wondered...What if the Purple Guy had regret what he had done? What if he thought it over and realized he made a bad choice? What if he realized that he deliberately and callously destroyed the reputation of what could have been one of the greatest franchises of all time?

Well, true - I mean, don't get me wrong, he can NEVER be forgiven for his actions, but there must've been at least ONE person in this fandom that would've thought the Purple Guy would eventually regret his decisions.
