Prologue:

Being so laid back and care free as I am, I’m always so trusting and forgiving that I never really realize when I’m in major trouble, or when I have a real friend or not. I guess you could say we were always Friends For Never. It was just a few years back, I was simply searching for new grazing lands, coming to the Canadian Tundra. Well that was the day I met……Caelum.

It had been weeks since I had seen another horse, seeing that I had left my friends, and herd to find better grazing areas. Being in the summer, this climate had been cool enough, and it was perfect actually. As I looked around, I came across an open field, wild life and plants everywhere. There were caribou grazing, hares scurrying back to their holes and foxes chasing after them. I could easily see the arctic wolves as well, their coats just turning back to a greyish color for the summer. I smirked.
“Seems like a good grazing area…Huh?” I saw a large animal with horns, they were purple. Wait...PURPLE?! I snorted out of confusion and walked closer, trying to get a better view. He looked the size of a draft horse, but had a slim build. He had choppy hair going from his neck to his belly, and his forelock was pulled back, revealing his purple eyes, which gleamed with a certain evil spark. I shook my head and looked back, hoping I was just seeing things. As I looked up, he was still there, but looking directly at me. He snorted.
“Do you need something?” He said in a cold dark way, glaring slightly. I look down and away.
“Uh…um…N-no…What are you exactly?”
“That’s needing something, and besides, why do I need to say?” He snorted, lowering his head back down to graze. Fangs…He had fangs, too. I sighed.
“S-sorry but…I’m just looking for grazing areas…and perhaps a new herd…” He glanced over at me, then looked forwards, a sneer coming upon his face.
“I could probably help you out. You know, showing you the ropes…friend.” He chuckled.
And this is how everything began……

This is a sort of mini-cover image for a story that ~SerenityHillFarm and I are starting (and maybe =Fargonon ? xP) It's about her character, Kofi (left) and my new character Caelum (right). But I won't spoil anything, so you'll just have to wait.
