So. Did I ever mention that I love most Netflix original animated series? Usually they’re all pretty okay to being some of my favorite shows.

This character’s species belongs to the original Netflix series of trollhunters. This show does have a lot of flaws (few of them are blaring or even that noticeable if you don’t look too into the details too much) but I genuinely found it entertaining enough to overlook them. I actually adore this show and I cannot wait to watch the two spinoff series (even with the star wars based 3 Below - I normally wouldn’t ever like science fiction/science fantasy yet I’m actually really excited for it).
This creature is a stalkling, one of the original creatures from the show. It’s a type of troll that can survive in the sunlight and are known for well... stalking (and assassination). They’re kind of like gargoyles but gigantic in comparison. They have a distinct body type with large, long forearms with short, thin back legs along side a short tail with a pterodactyl-esk beak and have unproportional wings to the body ratio that shouldn’t allow them to fly.
I’ve taken the stalkling idea and made it more dragon like. It’s just my own idea/interpretation.

I would definitely recommend trollhunters to any fantasy lovers who love good animation, creating OTP’s (trust me I ship quite a few characters), and what I think are more realistic 3D characters.

Do expect more fan art at some point.
