Description

I'm a big fan of Samuel L. Jackson and was so taken by his haunting performance as Elijah Price in Unbreakable that I sketched out this image after a couple of days of brooding and ruminating on the movie and its characters.

Good movies stick with me for days, sometimes weeks, before my brain resumes normal operating procedure. Which isn't too complex if a simple fictional visual narrative can overwhelm it so easily.

My intention with this piece was to make it into a cover image for a faux Mr. Glass comic book.

If anyone would like to take a crack at coloring this feel free. Just please include my name for the original concept and inks.

"Now that we know who you are, I know who I am. I'm not a mistake! It all makes sense! In a comic, you know how you can tell who the arch-villain's going to be? He's the exact opposite of the hero. And most times they're friends, like you and me! I should've known way back when... You know why, David? Because of the kids. They called me Mr Glass."

A awesome piece, I was surprised that there was not more art of him on here I thought he was amazing. Great film! You really captured the brooding feeling of his character.

I saw this before I saw the film, but I immediately thought of this when I saw the film. It's super awesome, (both your drawing the film)
