cool work for sure...
i read some of your conversation about concentrating at school - i had the same problem and did a lot of drawing way back then, haha... most of them was silly stuff though...

Ah yes, I found I could concentrate better in school when my hands were busy with doodling, mostly technical stuff. Anything free hand was slightly less effective, but anything involving a ruler and a pen was solid gold!

Nah, this one wasn't too bad. There's actually a flaw in it, if you want to search for it! Wish I could find the real pic and fix it...

I've filled up three graphing notebooks with little drawings like these--each one unique to the others. It's really calming for me to draw during my classes and find that the school environment is one of the only places I draw now!

I'm currently on page four of my fourth book.

Yeah, I have trouble concentrating on certain subjects and have found that I can listen better when certain parts of my brain are occupied with technical drawings, otherwise my eyes start to wander around the room.

Nowadays I tend to start projects that take weeks to complete--it helps me remember what was being said at the time and I can usually remember in what class I finished the picture. I did this one way back in 2003 and finished it in my 8th grade Science class.

oh really? thats interesting. hey I would be too scared to do a project that lasts weeks! Longest one ever took 3/4 days (Ive yet to upload it). heh! Thats kinda funny but are brains are all "wired" differently, so if it works then it works. So this is actually one of your old ones heh....hey i just got blocked by BlackietheDragon for no reason whatsoever!! He faved my Aston Martin, I said thanks, and he/she sent me "....." and blocked me i have no idea why...well it shows you're really determined to be doing projects like that seriously...some drawings i consider an endurance yep.

This one probably took me the longest to finish, mostly because I had to stop and think of ways to fill in the blank spaces! Approx. Dec'08 to Mar'09
Although, this one is a strong contender... mostly because I believe I spent more actual drawing time on it! Finished in a Calculus class.

I'm looking at that ~BlackietheDragon 's page and they seem to do some weird things on their comment section! I'm wondering now if they've been hacked or something...

hehe! how do they allow you to draw in a class that isnt about art lol...well, even maths can be in art, very much...

yeah that Blackiethedragon..it's one possibility, is hacking common?

For the past couple of weeks, people have reportedly been hacked into for the purpose of spreading rude comments and insulting behavior in the attempt to get that person blocked, or unwatched. It's really pathetic, might want to keep up with your passwords!

MeaganEmerson In reply to wingsail [2009-05-11 23:00:34 +0000 UTC]

lol I've raised a couple of questions. And actually, those pens and pencils really only work with that papery stuff! Oh, why does art have to be so demanding!!!

It gets fun when you find those colorful pens and pencils laying around...

Oh, yes. I've found black, blue, red, orange, even yellow! A good place to start is the G-2 Pilot pens. Funny, I can only seem to find them on my birthday...
