Another fan art another portrait
Marius De Romanus, the nicest vampire of them all. He's too nice actually! If he'd been the callous, aloof sort (the way a powerful, ancient vampire should be!) he would have saved himself (and the world) a lot of trouble
Naa, things would have been boring if he hadn't introduced the mother of all vampires to corrupting forces like the Brat Prince and television. I would have loved to see him bitchslap Lestat juust once though!

I go 'Aargh!' everytime my crappy/old VC fanart gets faved and have this urge to make better stuff only to go 'Aargh' when the new stuff gets old and contiunues to get faved! A vicious cycle v.v;. I was supposed to upload this to my scraps but got a little carried away while painting it. I want Marius like painting skills -_- (including the vampiric painting speed and observation, lol) ... another momemnt of madness [link] guess who!

This is a beautiful portrait. I particularly love his eyes and your ever wondrous ability to capture hair. He almost makes me wish I played for the other side haha.
May I ask what he is from. Is he a character in an Anne Rice novel perhaps?

I always liked Marius.
Yeah, I only read Blood and Gold because it was about Marius,despite the fact that the entire book is just a reiteration of what we've already heard in previous books. Nothing came as any big surprise, but at least it was less painful to read than Vampire Armand, which I...couldnt force myself to finish. Part one:AWESOME. Part two: not so much. @.@

The Vampire Armand... part two was such a draaaag. I think Armand ran out of enthusiasm, too much energy poured into certain scenes. Hehe, I started reading Blood and Gold again, I need to draw a proper Thorne someday. Red haired viking vampire @_@!

Yeah, I dug Armand so much more back in the first 3 books. I found him particularly delicious in Vampire Lestat, mostly because of his sneaky underhandedness and antagonistic attitude. Later books have him acting like a sad-sack. Chill out, emo-kid. -_-

Oooh, that's lovely. I like how the blue of his eyes seems to glow, and how the way you've done his hair makes it look soft. I'm behind wth the VC, haven't read Blood and Gold and some of the other more recent ones.

He does get pretty annoying, but I LOVE the book (The Vampire Lestat) It's probably my favorite of the series.
