I wonder what type of world these creatures live in. Would it be a planet entirely covered with water? Would it be a universe where water could remain liquid in the vacuum of space, thus resulting in entire galaxies of water where life could develop? Or are these creatures microscopic? And their entire world is in a drop of water. It's interesting how the implications of a piece of art like this is half of intrigue of the art itself.
