when I first made my comic the Ice dragon, I didn't know how to make Maria stay in the other world. so I thought;
"Hey! I just put her dead dad in this world. That should hold her"
"Sorry Maria, I know I´m evil!"

you mean Mike. I think it´s because, that kid´s shouldn't do that.
kids usually get´s food from their parents but Mike didn´t have a choice.
that´s why they took him into the revolution. They could use a kid, who don't even have a home.
