Life's been very draining lately, and my arts suffering pretty badly. But the other day I was feeling up to drawing and ended up doing a bunch of little sketches, mostly of Sparks' childhood good and bad. This was one of the sketches I liked and just figured I'd flat colour.... well as you can see I got a bit carried away no warning on it because thats such a tiny amount of blood.

So a bit of context here, since its probably needed. Sparks, my hybrid chu boi, had a very rough childhood with many painful memories. Many of which were do to his abusive older brother Surge, who's simple sibling jealousy and frustration changed to full out aggression and hate as the boys grew older. Things came to a head not long after their father Striker passed away from an illness leaving the boys in the care of their uncle and aunt, eventually resulting in this final confrontation. I could ramble about what lead to the fight exactly but thats not necessary, all you need to know is after this point Sparks gave up on him completely and (being a stupid kid at the time) abandoned his life on the islands, moving to the mainland. This event likely helped instill a bit of his bitter and angsty attitude seen later in his life.
