im going to exsplain somthing to you and i hope this does not come off as an a-whole but more a romantic...
think of every show, movie, story, etc, etc, human thing that ever had to do with a female and a male that is in "love", rather it be some sick love, a romantic love, old time love, etc etc, doomed love, young love, old love, craz, reckless, etc etc
all the love...
and now see that story, movie, etc etc
with two guys...
the guy playing the women in said story, no matter what stpry that maybe, is uke,
the guy being the guy in said story is the seme.
its not really bout dom or sub. powper or not. girly etc etc.
its simply about rolls.
having clear titles and motives.
my uke may need me as a uke does need a seme but he is strong, he is shy in my arms but loud in public, etc etc
my point is...
like in america the one giving the bj is normaly called the sub but when its seme and uke its normaly the seme that gives. etc etc.
just trying to give a view point so you "Because uke means submissive and feminine and girly." or should i say Lily understands there doesnt have to be really "girly, sub, or fem" traits if you are an uke.

While I understand the point you're are trying to make, I think you misunderstand me.
When I say 'because uke means submissive and feminine and girly' I ALSO said 'It doesn't really mean that but I'm talking about connotations', in which when you're talking about being 'uke' to most uneducated fangirls, they consider that to be the one who is ALWAYS submissive, frail, dainty, and 'catches the ball'. I did NOT like that idea for this particularly masculine character because he definitely would never act that way. It's out of character for him to be that type of 'uke'.
that being said, that doesn't mean he CAN'T be uke. He might fight you tooth and nail for it, but that doesn't mean he would never let his lover penetrate him. There are homosexual relationships where there are couples who straight top, and while I prefer that for this character, I can also see it happening that he allows his lover to top him, to feel fair and equal and, considering who his lover would be (by connotations and subtext CLAMP has given, that would be Fay), Kurogane being topped means he wants to show Fay he trusts him and loves him like no other person would dare do in Fay's original world. (again, topping Kurogane isn't necessary for that mindset, but I understand it nonetheless)
I am a very active member of the LGBTQ(APAQDM) community, so I understand the roles that CAN be played in a homosexual relationship, whether it be female or male, or gender ambiguous. I know what sexually active but romantically stagnant means. I know what hetero- and homo-romantic means. (those particularly sexuality traits are more often than not describing asexuality, which Kurogane comes off a lot of the time. This doesn't mean he doesn't love Fay, but it does mean perhaps he isn't sexually attracted to any person particularly).
TL;DR
When I drew this picture, I drew it to show the kinky side of their relationship, showing that Fay (based off of his personality at the ending of the manga) can be the dominating one, despite how Kurogane would react.
